Jux Jewellery items are protected by a warranty against manufacturing defects for a period of 12 months from the purchase date.
If you believe your jewellery item has a manufacturing defect, you may return it to us for inspection. Please email a photo and description of the fault to arrange a repair. If we determine your item is damaged due to a manufacturing defect, we will either carry out a repair or replace the item.
A manufacturing fault does not include:
- Cracked, fractured, discoloured or damaged stones
- General wear and tear
- Bent or snapped rings
- Bent, caught, broken or worn out prongs
- Broken chain
- Oxidised and tarnished metals or faded gold plating
- Lost stone due to chipping or breaking caused by normal wear or other damage
- Exposure to chemicals, swimming pools, make-up or bathing
If we determine that the damage is not caused by a manufacturing defect or is outside the 12 month warranty period, a repair fee may apply.
Jux Jewellery accepts returns for online items in their new condition (unused, unworn, original packaging) within 14 days of purchase for an exchange or online store credit (full value purchase price, excludes shipping costs). Please note items that have been re-sized are not eligible for exchange.
To be eligible for an exchange or store credit, we ask that you:
- Contact us within 14 days of purchase
- Ensure the item is unworn, unused and in its original JUX packaging
- Return the item via a trackable shipping service
- Cover the full cost of re-shipment - $9 standard / $13 Express within Australia or $28 International (you will be emailed an invoice)
Once we have safely received your returned item we will issue you an exchange or online store credit.
Jux Jewellery is able to provide a refund within the first 60 days of purchase for items that have a manufacturing defect. We do not offer refunds for change of mind. If you believe your item has a manufacturing defect, you may return it to us for inspection. If we determine your item is faulty due to a manufacturing defect within the 60 day period, you will have the choice of either a refund, repair or exchange. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Custom Order Return
Due to the labour involved with crafting custom orders to desired specifications, all pieces created for custom orders are final sale and are ineligible for returns, refunds or exchanges unless there is a manufacturing defect.
Stone replacement in our jewellery is a case by case basis. If your stone is a one-off or irregular shape it may not be possible to replace. If we determine that it may be possible to replace your stone, you will be quoted a reasonable replacement fee (the cost varies from stone to stone).
If the size is not right, you are welcome to exchange your piece within 14 days of purchase for an alternative size or an online store credit. Please see 'Exchange' section above for information on how to return your item.
Engagement rings include one complimentary re-size. Any design with opals and other fragile gemstones (moonstone, pearls, turquoise etc.) are not able to be re-sized as the stone is likely to endure heat damaged in the re-sizing process.
